Finally, on PC, Cyberpunk 2077 has achieved the comeback arc of a lifetime. CD Projekt openly rebuilt core systems after launch, and the Phantom Liberty expansion saw Idris Elba himself elevate the tale of espionage. Monster Hunter Rise remains one of the finest co-op slayers, and its verticality owes thanks to Capcom's experiments with grappling mechanics way back in Lost Planet.
